the opportunity to drive over the Crown Range to the Wanaka airport where we thought to find a fine collection of antique airplanes. The hanger complex was converted into the National Transport and Toy Museum. This turned out to be a hanger complex jammed to the rooftops with cars, bike, airplanes, toys and about anything else you could think of for a garage sale.
